Replaces threaded core chucks commonly used in this industry and slides over then tightens on threads. This type of creel is used in "filament winding and prepreg manufacturing, outside pull creels" and works on both right and left hand threads. Color is pressed into an aluminum core holding chuck.

In other words, almost anywhere that a conventional shaft collar is used, a Grip Fast™ can also be used.
